DONNA BRUM Owner/Instructor/Choreographer/Professional Dancer Ms. Brum
has been dancing since the age of 3. She has studied ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, modern, and tumbling and received her credentials
from CNADM (Chicago National Association of Dance Masters) and NADAA (National Association of Dance and Affiliated Artists).
She has studied extensively in cities across the country and has danced with many well-known Broadway and film stars. More
recently she has choreographed several local musicals and shows. For 43 years, Ms. Brum has been living her dream of
being a studio owner and considers her dance students her "family". TRACIE HEATHER BOROWY Owner/Instructor/Choreographer/Professional
Dancer
Ms. Borowy has been teaching
at the Donna Brum School of Dance since 1990, and has been dancing at the studio since the age of 4. In addition to her regular
studio duties, she is the choreographer and coach for the Danz-Elite Junior and Senior competition teams. After her graduation
from TF South, where she was Co-Captain of the Poms Team, Ms. Borowy attended Columbia College and earned a B.A. in Dance
Teaching. She also lends her dance expertise to many local musical productions. Her great energy and love for dance make her
a favorite of the students.
CATHY
LENCZYCKI Ms. Lenczycki is a graduate of T.F. South High School and has an Associate
Degree from South Suburban College. She was an active member of the Pom Squad in high school. "Miss Cathy", as she
is known to her students, has been dancing since the age of 6 and has been teaching at the studio since 1990. Ms. Lenczycki
teaches tap, ballet, jazz, and tumbling.
BARBARA MARTEWICZ Miss
Barb, a former Thornwood High School and University of Iowa competitive gymnast, has been teaching all ages and all levels
of gymnastics since the age of 12. A former competitive gymnast herself, Barbara brings enthusiasm and insider knowledge of
the sport to the Donna Brum Studio. Ms. Martewicz competed from the age of 10 at the Olympia Gymnastics Center in Olympia
Fields.
Tasha Scurlock Miss Tasha has been dancing since the age of 3, studying all forms in Southern Illinois,
St. Louis, Donna Brum Dancers and Arve School of Dance until High School. She enjoyed competitive dance for 8 years and
began teaching dance in Northwest Indiana over 20 years ago. In addition to teaching, Miss Tasha coached and choreographed
routines for a competition dance team for over 12 years.
Tracy Hallberg Miss Tracy has been dancing for 18 years and graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a
B.A. in Dance. She is trained in ballet, pre-pointe, pointe, modern, lyrical, jazz, tap and hip hop. While attending Columbia
she had the privilege to work with and take class from Jeff Hancock, Reggie Wilson, Margi Cole, Michael Cole, and more. She
also had the opportunity to take master classes with members from Merce Cunningham Company, Alvin Ailey Company, Joe Goode,
Urban Bush Women, etc. She currently continues taking class down town at Lou Conte Dance Studio. Tracy enjoys working
with children and loves to further their knowledge through the gift of dance. She is extrememly excited to be a part of Donna
Brum Dancers and is looking forward to meeting everyone this fall.

SARA
LOGAN
Sara R. Logan began her dance
training at the age of three and competed with DanzElite, from 1998- 2004. During this time, she also worked for
a local DJ and production company, H.Y.P.E. Productions, performing as an interactive dancer at special events. In May
2010, Logan graduated with her Bachelor of the Arts degree in Dance Teaching. While at Columbia College, she performed
in several main stage pieces and had her own choreography, “Breaking Void,” chosen to be in the Dance Center’s
“Student Performance Night.” Logan teaches ballet, modern, lyrical, jazz, hip hop, and tap. She also serves
as the head coach and choreographer for DBD's competitive team, Hip Hop K-Nektionz, while also choreographing small groups,
trios, duets, and solos for DBD's DanzElite.
JIL
COOLEY
Jil Cooley received her early dance education at
Santa Cruz Ballet Theatre in California. She was invited to intensive summer training workshops with Central Pennsylvania
Youth Ballet, North Carolina School of the Arts, and Houston Ballet Academy. Upon graduation, Miss Jil danced with the Richmond
Ballet. When Mrs. Cooley wasn’t dancing, she worked in the public school system teaching creative movement through “Minds
in Motion.” Then, she danced professionally with Charleston Ballet theatre, where she enjoyed roles in such ballets
as Bolero, Dracula, A Mid Summer Night’s Dream, and the Nutcracker.

DAVID MOLLEMA Mr. David is the newest member of our staff. He attends the Flash Point Film Academy in
Chicago and pursuing his career in the film industry. He has choreographed all different kinds of routines for teams like
Purdue University, Indiana University, Lowell High School, Midwest Elite Cheer, Illiana Christian and more. Being a level
10 gymnast, David has won the state championships 3 times in a row. He can't wait to start dancing and making memories at
Donna Brum Dancers.

KARI WISOWATY Miss Kari, a former Danz-Elite
member, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from Northern Illinois University and is working towards a Masters
of Education degree from Capella University. She is the former Head Dance Coach for Calumet College of St. Joseph, where
she led her team to NAIA/NDA Nationals during its second season. In addition to being a former adjunct faculty member at Prairie
State College, she utilizes her teaching and coaching skills to choreograph state and national award-winning numbers for middle
school, high school and college teams. She has also danced in performances with Rhythm Nation Dance Team, Empire State Ballet
and Mordine and Company.
